Trygghetsläge – uppdatering 27/3 (engelska)

Bethlehem Church is in security mode due to coronavirus and covid -19. This means that almost all activities have been closed but the church continues to be open for worship every Sunday. Religious service in safety mode means that we sit on every second bench, that we greet each other without shaking hands or hugging, and that there will be no church coffee or tea. It is very important that you stay at home if you feel ill, even if there are mild cold symptoms and cough. Stay at home until you are healthy and two more days. This applies to both adults and children.

Most of the activities during the weeks are canceled. This applies, for example, to the Swedish course (Tuesday), Café Exil (Wednesday), Pratcafé (Thursday). The Bible School has distance education from April 2. Bible study on Tuesdays is canceled. Leaders will keep in touch with participants who can no longer attend church.

There will be no congregational meeting on Sunday March 29 and no concerts (Music for the Roof) Sunday April 5 and Sunday May 10.

The Board, in consultation with the staff, has decided on these guidelines. They apply in the first place up to and including April 30. We are constantly following the advices of the authorities and the government’s directives on the spread of infection. More changes may come at short notice. In the midst of all this, we want Bethlehem Church to be a safe place for a troubled time!
